In the mountains of Nicaragua, children who survive their first years of life born in a constantly burning garbage dump have a rough road ahead of them. Their living conditions are primitive, often dangerous, and food is scarce.

You can smell the garbage dumps before you see them, and as you approach, you will see people and many children scavenging for scraps of anything that can have value in the city to sell for food.

Poverty in Nicaragua is so deep that families are living in garbage dumps, searching all day for scraps to eat. The food is often rotting. Digging for it is dangerous. No child should have to live like this.

Every $1 you give delivers $7 worth of food—plus Gospel hope and other resources to live a new, full life. Please give these boys and girls a brighter future. Thank you for caring for them!
